How to Firm Your Sagging Facial Skin

If you're reading this you're looking for a solution to your sagging facial skin. There are solutions that don't involve surgery but they may mean a lifestyle change. For example, you can't live a life filled with fast food, no exercise and little sleep and expect great looking skin. Like everything else, there's not an instant fix.

But if you live a reasonably healthy life and find good skincare products for sagging skin, you can see a reversal in your sagging facial skin.

There are so many skincare products out there, how do you know which ones to choose? You'll want to become an educated consumer if you're not already and learn which ingredients to avoid and which to look for in your skincare.

First, let's look at 3 of the most common ingredients in big name skincare that don't help your sagging facial skin and may actually harm you.

These 3 ingredients to avoid are:

1-Fragrance--It might smell nice but fragrances can be made with over 4,000 chemicals and this is the single largest irritate for skin. As much as 10% of the population may be sensitive or allergic to some fragrances.

2-Parabens-these chemical preservatives have been linked to cancer and are clinically proven to disrupt hormones

3--Sulfates like sodium lauryl and sodium laureth-- these are harsh detergents that produce a lather in sudsing products like shampoo and foaming face cleansers. They're made from the byproducts of crude oil.

As you can see, none of these have much applicability to helping repair your sagging facial skin.

So, what types of skincare products for sagging skin will help? Look for ingredients like:

1-Cynergy TK--this cutting edge ingredient is based on the extract from a sheep's wool in New Zealand. This extract is so similar to proteins already in your body, your body is "tricked" into thinking it's its own and helps strengthen collagen fibers within your body as well as make more.

2--Phytessence Wakame--this Japanese sea kelp has been used for centuries by the Japanese. They eat it, in miso soup, and use it on their faces to counteract aging. Phytessence wakame will help firm sagging facial skin by slowing down an enzyme your body produces to weaken your skin's elasticity. Wakame has been called the "Fountain of Youth" by the media and it's naturally found in the sea.

3-Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10 --this microscopic version of the vitamin like substance CoEnzyme Q10 is a powerful antioxidant that is able to penetrate up to 7 layers deep in your skin to counteract free radicals and help firm up sagging skin.

Where can you find products for sagging skin with these ingredients? Not in stores. There's a little known New Zealand company that creates skincare products to help reverse wrinkles and sagging skin. These products are healthy and safe and you can find them on the internet.

Sushi-Dai at Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo 2

The thing to get at Sushi-Dai is the Omakase or "trust the chef" course for 3670 Yen ( 31 USD ). I chose the "beer set" which was a large bottle of beer and a small plate of clear see-thru fish and a couple extra pieces of sushi for 38 USD. You get 10 pieces of their freshest nigiri sushi and then you get to pick 1 more, which one is your favorite. You also get a bowl of fantastic red miso soup with little clams in it, and green tea. You can see that the place seats only 9 people. They should definitely expand and open a much larger location, perhaps one that seats 50. With 70 people constantly in line from 7AM to 11AM they could raise their prices a bit too. But i guess theyre " Keeping it real. "

Fucoxanthin - What is It?

What is fucoxanthin?

People lose weight fast with fucoxanthin, an ingredient found in seaweed that naturally reduces fat by increasing your metabolic rate. Fucoxanthin is a compound that is found naturally in red, green and brown seaweed, all of which is commonly used in Asian foods like sushi and miso soup. As you age your metabolism gets slower and normal dieting doesn't give you the results you expect anymore. Fucoxanthin is an easy way to lose weight fast.

Does fucoxanthin help you lose weight fast?

Although it is known that fucoxanthin studies have shown to be effective for fast weight loss in animal studies, there have been recent studies done on human subjects that also showed this. There have been recent studies in both humans and animals that showed taking fucoxanthin supplements helps to reduce body weight as well as significant losses in visceral fat, decrease in liver and abdominal fat, and an increase in energy expenditure. Subjects taking the fucoxanthin supplements lost an average of 14 pounds, 11 pounds more than the placebo group. There are numerous studies being conducted on both humans and animals to determine the efficacy of fucoxanthin for fast weight loss, but also for its other benefits which includes being a super antioxidant.

What are the other effects of fucoxanthin?

Fucoxanthin, as a carotenoid it helps to protect cells from the damage done by free radicals. Studies have also shown that fucoxanthin promotes the creation of the omega-3 fatty acid DHA. Fucoxanthin has been shown to decrease insulin and blood glucose levels, an anti-diabetes effect, in animal studies. Scientists believe that this is because it promotes DHA production. The omega-3 fatty acid DHA is the healthy substance that is found in fish oil and fish like salmon.

Weight-loss tips:

Healthy weight loss should be taken at a conservative pace, with drastic starvation diets and other unhealthy tactics to be avoided. Fucoxanthin can be used to aid healthy fast weight loss in combination with eating a healthy balanced diet and normal exercise.
A good way to keep yourself motivated for fast weight loss is by keeping track of your progress with a weight loss chart.

Everyone wants to lose weight fast, but keeping that weight off should be the ultimate goal. Keeping a regular exercise routine with at least thirty minutes of cardio everyday will help you keep in shape. Using supplements like fucoxanthin can give you that extra bump and motivation to continue eating healthy and working out regularly.

You should also identify unhealthy foods in your diet that you can eliminate in order to maximize long-term results. Choosing less-fatty foods and increasing the amount of fruits, vegetables and fiber in your diet can go a long way. Calorie-counting on a daily basis isn't entirely necessary, but identifying high-calorie items that are consumed on a regular basis like sodas or juices with your lunch can help you find the reason for that 5 or 10 pound gain in weight. Small changes in your diet and daily habits can result in large losses in fat and weight loss.

10 Lunch Box Ideas

Packing a lunch can be a frustrating event because it is always a struggle for lunch ideas. Most people end up settling for old leftovers, and when lunch time comes around, they end up buying their lunch anyway. But you don't have to buy your lunch anymore because we have a collection of 10 lunch cooler ideas for you. The best part is that you will probably even save some money by making your lunch.

1. Roll-up sandwich, pasta salad, fruit salad, hand full of nuts, and a bottle of water. Roll-up sandwiches are great because they don't feel like sandwiches at all. You can use pita breads or open flat breads depending what is available to you. Toss on some deli meats, lettuce, mayo, and a little mustard.

2. Bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon, a few raisins, and cashews. This is a classic and is sure to give your taste buds a nice treat. You can also prepare some fried potatoes and a peach to go along with it.

3. How about a bean burrito with cheese, sliced mangos, and a chef salad on the side. You can buy a can of re-fried beans for about $1.50 which can spread out to 4 or 5 burritos. The mangos will offer a refreshing dessert to compliment the heaviness of the beans.

4. Why not try tomato soup, salted crackers, grilled cheese, pickles, and yogurt for dessert.

5. Sushi is a wonderful lunch because it will engage all kinds of conversation. But if raw fish doesn't suit your needs, try a veggie sushi roll. Add some sesame crackers and miso soup. The great thing about Miso soup is that it is cheap to make and miso paste lasts forever in your fridge.

6. Everyone loves tacos but they can be a real mess. Instead, make a taco salad. You use all the same ingredients but break the taco shell over top. Be sure to keep things separate before your ready to eat. If you mix everything together before you go to work, it's going to create a soggy mess.

7. Muffins don't have to be just for dessert or tea time. You can make savory muffins for lunch too. Try making ham and cheese, corn bread, or breaking up bits of BBQ chicken and BBQ sauce inside.

8. White rice is boring. Try pan frying a few cups of rice mixed with everything you like to eat. When everything is just about done, cook an egg and scramble it in there too. You can add oyster or soy sauce to help flavor everything while it's cooking.

9. Sometimes you just want something light, so try a platter of fruits, cheese, and crackers. Of course wrap the crackers separate and anything that is real juicy. If you need meat, add some meat in there as well. This can be a great way to eat and work if you are busy in the office.

10. Buying prepackaged meals is sometimes the best option for certain things that you just wouldn't eat normally. Frozen dinners and instant noodles can be found on sale almost year round. Just be sure to check the ingredients as many of these have large amounts of sodium and/or fats.

Getting Rid of Age Spots is a Simple Science

Let's face it, many people want to get rid of age spots but it can be confusing with all the treatments available.

But, I, for one don't want to go to extreme measures like chemical peels and expensive laser therapies to get rid of them. I want a more natural solution. Maybe you do too.

But I'm getting ahead of myself. First let me explain what causes age spots. These brown spots are officially called solar lentigines and are caused by too much sun. The brown spots are patches of tanning pigment or melanin--the same process that causes all over tanning and they're most evident in light skinned people.

Age spots are safe but their presence means you've probably had a few sunburns in your day so you might be at risk for skin cancer. It doesn't hurt to be checked out for this by your doctor.

Now that you know what causes age spots, you can prevent more from forming by protecting yourself with a good sunscreen, large hat, long sleeves/pants and avoid the mid day sun.

To get rid of existing age spots you can find a good cream with safe and effective ingredients to fade age spots. I'll get to that in a minute, but first, why don't I like the chemical peels and laser therapies?

Well, besides the expense in time and money, they destroy valuable skin cells near the age spots which can result in scarring and cell damage. And, you have to repeat the treatments as new age spots form.

Research shows you can get rid of age spots with a convenient and natural approach. By reading the labels on your skincare products, you can learn what ingredient will fade your age spots by up to 40% without harsh side effects.

This ingredient is called Extrapone Nutgrass Root. Don't let the funny name fool you. This substance fades your age spots and gives you younger looking skin by blocking melanin production in your cells so those ugly brown spots just fade away.

Another ingredient I like to prevent wrinkles and skin sagging is called Phytessence wakame. It strengthens your collagen and elastin fibers which give your skin shape and elasticity. The Japanese have used it for centuries as part of their skin care and eat it in dishes like miso soup. This is one of the most powerful antioxidants available today in skin care.

Grilled Orange Miso Glazed Salmon - A Salmon Dish With an Attitude

Miso is a traditional Japanese seasoning made by fermenting soya beans, with salt and the kojikin fungus sometimes fermented rice or barley is mixed with the soya breans. Once fermented miso is a salty thick spread a condiment used to flavour the pickled vegetables, or meats.

It is mixed with dashi, the staple Japanese soup broth to make a soup called Misoshiru. Miso is important to Japanese food for its taste but it is also nutritious as it is high in minerals and vitamins. How it is fermeted affects its taste, acidity and colour, it may be red or brown and it can be fruity, or earthy, salty sweet or savoury.

Robust meats dishes can be left in the marinade for twenty four hours, but the acidity of this marinade tends to cook the fish. If you would prefer to barbecue this it is perfect on the barbecue. or baked in the oven.

Grilled Orange Miso-Glazed Salmon

Ingredients

2 salmon fillets

Marinade
2 tablespoons miso paste
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
2 teaspoons light soy sauce
1 tablespoon sake
1 teaspoon good quality sesame oil
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
black pepper to taste

Method

Place all the marinade ingredients into a bowl. Open up the salmon and remove any pin bones with tweezers. Place the salmon in the marinade and leave for half an hour. Fry the salmon skin side down until it is crisp and then turn the fish over and gently fry for about five minutes until the fish is just cooked. Take care not to over cook the fish as it will dry out.

Raw Food Diet - Vitamin B12 Deficiency and Solutions (I)

Most vegan diets are frowned upon because of the Vitamin B12 controversy. From all the angles of anti-veganism, this is probably the most common concern.

Vitamin B12, abundant in high quality animal products, is a nutrient which many medical doctors claim to be difficult for vegetarians to obtain.

What Is B12?

B12 is a nutrient produced only by micro-organisms, and is found in a variety of animal and certain plant sources. People with healthy intestines also produce large amounts of B12 in their colons.

But because of B12 absorption problems (which again depends on a variety of factors), and most people do not have healthy digestive tracts and colons, many health experts advised vegetarians to include B12 supplements in their diet.

As B12 can be stored in the liver for up to 6 years, it can be some time before deficiency signs show up. People with liver dysfunctions or B12 assimilation problems may experience these signs sooner.

So what is B12 for and why is it so important?

Why

B12 is required for basic body functions including the formation of red-blood cells, normal cell growth, fertility/pregnancy, immunity systems, and even treatment for some degenerative diseases (like cancer,AIDS) etc.

Common deficiency signs include anemia, weaknesses/fatigue, diarrhea/indigestion, depression, mental imbalances and even brain damage in serious cases.

A good indicator of a B12 deficiency is a red, shiny and smooth tongue.

However, the signs of deficiency may be concealed by the "masking syndrome" of the B-complex vitamin folic acid. Folic acid contains similar properties to that of B12 and are actually inter-dependent with B12 for many body functions.

While folate alleviates many symptoms of B12 deficiency, the damage is still being done secretly to the body! And because folate is abundant in leafy greens, legumes and sprouts, we can see why deficient vegetarians only started to see the signs years later.

Before we condemn vegan diets, there are more things to consider. Apart from liver illnesses and poor digestive absorption, there are other factors which can cause B12 deficiency:

Contraceptives/Birth Control Pills
Antibiotics
Intoxicants (coffee, cigarettes, alcohol etc)
Stress (mental and physical)
Chronic illnesses

Can you see that B12 deficiency problems are not restricted to vegans only? Basically, anyone with an imbalanced lifestyle/diet can be at risk.

How - Solutions
The easiest way, and probably most used method is to take B12 supplements.

I personally do not take B12 supplements, but there is nothing wrong with adding a B12 supplement into a strict vegan diet, just to play safe.

A helpful note would be to know that B12 mal-absorption is mostly caused by gastric juices losing a mucoprotein enzyme (which makes B12 absorption efficient).

This is known as the "intrinsic factor", and can be lost through aging, surgery or excess intestinal bacteria. So if you opt for oral B12 supplements, be sure to choose the ones which cover this aspect.

Another well-rounded method would be to include a quality pro-biotic supplement. Although I do not take these on a daily basis, I use them to ferment raw nut cheeses, or to make nut milk with.

And of course, B12 growth is supported from some great tasting plant sources like unpasteurized miso, which I take on a regular basis. One thing to take note in the use of miso is the salt content: lighter miso has a lower salt content as compared to the darker ones.

...please refer to Part II of the article from the website below.

Kitchen Set Up For Your New Diet

When most people start a new diet or new way of eating, they make one huge mistake. They try to get new results from the same old surroundings. Have you ever heard the expression that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results? Why would you expect new eating habits to appear when your cabinets and fridge are still loaded with the same junk food? You need to adopt some new habits and throw some stuff away if you want be successful.

Here are some steps for you to follow in setting up your kitchen for a brand new way of eating:

First thing to do is get rid of all the snacks. This is usually the biggest problem a person faces when following a new and improved eating plan. They will eat the fruits and vegetables like they are supposed to, but at the first sign of hunger they reach for the snacks. After a few times falling into this trap, the new eating plan is over. I suggest that you keep only one snack that you like a lot for an emergency type situation. Toss all the rest of it.

Sit down with everybody in the house who are beginning the new diet and talk about recipes. Pick some that the group feels that they would like to try and incorporate these into a weekly menu plan.

Plan your menu for the week. Keep the plan simple so that you will consistently follow it.Make a shopping list from the plan. Go to the grocery store and natural food market to pick up the ingredients. Remember that shopping for good food may need to happen twice a week rather than once because of the short shelf life of fruits and vegetables. That's alright though because a shopping trip will be much shorter now because you do most of the shopping in one section of the store.

Wash all the fresh fruit and vegetables as soon as you get home. It is a time consuming thing so don't wait until you are hungry to start the process. After it's all washed put it into the fridge and do the cutting when it's meal time.

Make something that can be kept on hand as a between meal filler. For instance you could make a large pot of soup or cut up some raw vegetables and put it into a food container. Another thing I like to have on hand is brown rice in a rice steamer. It is a great snack to have ready to go.

The main thing is to eat consistently. When you are eating fresh fruits and vegetables you will need to eat more often. Plan accordingly, so that you do not have long periods of time in between meals.

If you do all these things you should have no problem with your new eating plan

Alkaline Diet Tips - How To Get The Most Out Of It

Alkaline diet involves insuring that over 80% of the total food intake comprises of alkalizing foods. Alkaline diet is easily followed if fruits and vegetables form major part of ones diet so that illness can be reversed and the aging process slowed down. Even though there are ways to find out what the alkalizing foods are it may still get a bit difficult to incorporate the alkaline diet in our daily regime. If certain tips of an alkaline diet are kept in mind the alkaline diet is easy to follow as well as maintain as a part of our lifelong daily schedule.

Water and citrus juices are both alkalizing food. So when on the alkaline diet squeeze a lemon in your glass of water as frequently as you can. Lemon though essentially an acidic fruit is alkalizing for the body. It gets cumbersome to make lemonade each time and also sugar is involved (unless one uses stevia). To avoid all pains yet get the gains of the alkaline diet a lemon squeezed in water will take care of both mineral water as well as lemons.

One of the easiest ways to follow an alkaline diet is to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Irrespective of what meal one is having one should try and consume a lot of vegetables and fruits. Instead of filling up on bread have a huge bowl of sautéed vegetables or even a large cabbage salad could do wonders for your body's ph level. Thoroughly cleaned fruits are a simple substitute for those nasty and acidic evening snacks. Try having an apple or a peach instead of a packet of chips. It also helps to put one cup of alkalizing greens aside to consume during the day. A cup of broccoli or kale kept aside and eaten during the day will insure the intake of vegetables.

Wheat is an acidic food. When on the alkaline diet substitute millet or quinoa for wheat. White breads should also be discarded as they are acidic foods too. When craving for that lovely meat dish choose chicken over beef. Have an occasional fish or lamb but try and keep beef off the dinning table completely. Just use chicken instead of other meats in the various meat recipes and you shall be good.

Olive oil is very alkalizing and beneficial in ways more than one. When on an alkaline diet discard vegetable and other oils in favors of Olive oil. Use is to get glowing skin and luscious hair too. Consume a lot of greens and add greens powder to almost any dish. Miso is highly alkaline food and a broth can be made simply be adding a teaspoon of it in hot water. This broth can greatly enhance the alkaline levels of the body.

An alkaline diet is easy to follow and can be adopted as a lifestyle rather than a crash diet. It works to keep ones weight in control as well as extend ones life span. A healthy life makes everything worth while.

Miso Soup (English) - Tegomass [fan cover]

Yay, first upload! =D After a week of struggling with my laptop, I finally figured out the basics of Youtube. Emphasis on "basics." I messed around with Audacity for five days, recorded my voice at two in the morning, and ended up with this. I honestly like this chipmunky voice better than my actual voice. I tried my hardest to sing without the accent. I tried even harder to not breathe so loudly, but that didn't go so well. The sad thing is that I didn't even have to raise the pitch that much. My voice is just that high and childish. TT-TT Song: Miso Soup (English version) Original artist: Tegomass Chipmunk vocals: Entrancia Vocals (sadly) belong to me. The brilliant song does not.

The Japanese Diet - a Diet To Lose Weight, Remain Slim & Be Healthy!

For no people on earth is it more true than the Japanese, when you say, "you are what you eat". The Japanese are, by all accounts, the people with the least obesity problem, the highest longevity rate, and best health record. What are they eating?

The importance of rice

Rice is the main carbohydrate food in Japan, consumed with every meal. However, the real basis of the Japanese diet is not rice but fish, consumed at more than 70 kilos per person per year--which means 190 grams daily. This combination of rice and fish, as their staple food is far superior to the American meat and potato, the European little of this, little of that diets, and light years ahead of the Russian pork, potato and mayonnaise daily fare.

Let's see what else they eat. Miso and other soy products! Miso is a fermented soy product, and a soup is made from it that is light tasting and easy to digest. One gets all the benefits of soy from it. Also, the famous soy sauce. Japanese people, on the average consume about 200 grams of soy products daily.

So why are they so thin and so healthy?

There are a few very good reasons. One is their sparingly consumption of sugar.

Low in sugar

Japanese consume only 20 kilos of sugar per year (compared to the American 71 kilos per year). Another is the Japanese consumption of cereals (which obviously includes rice) to be 105 kilos per year (compared to the American 68 kilos per year).

The human body appears to be doing much better with natural cereals and less sugar than fried potatoes and 'sugar in everything you eat' diets. The Japanese have far less incidence of heart disease and cancer than Americans. As they eat as much meat as the Americans do (or more), and smoke more, the theory is refined sugar and stress are the two biggest contributors to destroying one's health.

Portion size

Another important factor in the Japanese diet is portion size. The portions are small.

This means they savor their food; eat slowly and enjoy it. No "scarfing" down hamburgers and fries here, and king size cola drinks.

Eating with chop sticks help, as you eat more slowly, take smaller bites and are able to appreciate what you are eating. This aids in digestion, and that is a proven fact.

There are two more factors which must be mentioned that make the Japanese diet so successful.

The first is breakfast.

The typical Japanese breakfast can (and usually includes) green tea, steamed rice, miso soup with tofu, spring onions and omelet and both raw and grilled fish.

This gives your body all it needs to start your day well. You will feel better, and such food does not add weight to your body at all. In fact, it stimulates the metabolism mechanism. You will not gain weight, and if overweight, will lose weight.

Variety Never be bored

The second factor is variety.

A typical American will have about 30 varieties of food per week. A typical European (especially southern European) will have about 45. The typical Japanese will have about 100 varieties of food per week, and will include lots of fresh fish, vegetables, fruit and a variety of meats.

There is one over-riding element here as well; the Japanese cook their foods lightly and thus are never feeling stuffed and stuffy after eating.

As you can see the diet is great and its healthy and is perfect for those wanting to lose weight and avoid illness.

Easy Soup As Good As You Remember From Childhood

To many people, soup is something that comes out of a can or packet but few things beat the wonderfully fresh flavor of homemade soup. Soup is also an excellent example of a food that anybody can make from scratch. If you can boil water and add things to it, you can make soup. It really is that simple. Soup is also very versatile and you can use your favorite ingredients to make your own particular favorite soup variety.

The Many Different Types of Soup

There are too many different soup varieties to list here but you can get hot or chilled soups, thick or thin soups, fish, meat or vegetable soup, country style, oriental spicy soup and many more kinds. You have probably tasted a few different types of soup such as tomato or chicken noodle soup but what about chilled cucumber and mint soup or Japanese miso?

One of the most popular ones in the world is chicken soup and many countries have their own chicken soup recipes. Chicken is economical to buy and if you have used a chicken in another recipe and only have the bones left, you can use them to make chicken soup. You can choose from chicken rice, chicken noodle, Chinese chicken, creamy chicken soup and plenty more.

Maybe one of the reasons that chicken is so well loved is that you can do a lot of different things with it and use different flavors and textures. Some people like to add noodles or potatoes; others like to have plenty of vegetable pieces. Some people prefer a thin chicken consommé and others like a smooth and creamy soup.

Cooking Chicken Soup They will Remember

One of the easiest ways to make a delicious chicken soup recipe is to cover a chicken carcass in water, bring it to the boil, remove the carcass, add herbs and vegetables, and simmer it for an hour. If you are using a chicken carcass and vegetables, which are leftover, you can make a really tasty soup out of ingredients, which would otherwise have been thrown in the trash without a thought. Because of this, the chicken soup will have cost absolutely nothing to make.

When you take out the carcass, it is best to use a sieve to make sure you remove any tiny bone fragments. You can pick bits of meat or fat off the carcass and add them to the mix for flavor.

Chicken noodle verities have been used for many years to soothe people suffering from colds or the flu. The steam from the soup is good for congestion, the fluids are great for the illness, and chicken soup is especially soothing and comforting. There is no doubt that a bowl of homemade chicken soup will lift your spirits and cheer you up.

Perhaps you remember being given homemade chicken soup as a child. Now you know how simple it is to make your own soup, perhaps you would like to have a go at making some soothing, satisfying chicken soup for your own family.

Kiefer - Noah's and Moses' Super Yogurt For Intestinal Health

Kiefer - The Mystery Milk from the Mountains

KIEFER - Noah's Other Brew - Mohammed's Ararat Secret - Russia's Disclosure

Today's term is PROBIOTICS. And that's a good term. It means FOR LIFE - Stuff that makes "good bugs in your bod". What science has learned is the the "flora and fauna" of your intestinal tract is a highly variable world full of millions of micro bacteria. The balance of that microflora determines health. And since 80% of your immune system is in your intestinal tract, it has much to do with our blog topic.

Remember the last time you had a horrible intestinal upset. Think: "BAD microflora". At any rate, if we move back in time, we can see that people have been benefitting from positive microflora at many points in history, even back, legend has it - to prehistory and myth times. There is a "mushroom" like substance that is used in Asian health drinks called KOMBUCHA. I won't speak of that now, but cultural history is spotted with foods and teas and drinks that basically perform the function of directly working with your intestinal microflora. From Miso Soup to Pickles, there are lots of foods that pertain to our challenge here. I do not now pretend to talk about that whole world. However, today, I will talk about Kiefer because of its special and intriguing history.

Kidnapping a Princess for the Secret of Long Life -

At the turn of the Century in what was Armenia, there was a secret brew that Russian's would put in a bag near their front door. It looked like a big bag of milk, and boy did it "work". It sat there with its secret ingredients and burblied and bubbled and got sampled and eventually got to a point where it was ready to be consumed. Most of us would look at it, and call it SUPER YOGURT. Fast forward to present day. It's now in your local super market.

Locals said it gave long life, prevented disease and gave youthful vitality. Through a bribe and a princess and a tale worthy of a movie, the local Russians revealed their secret to the public and people got possession of this special microbial making "mushroom" and it eventually got to the USA where small business innovation took over and made it available to all. The story is fascinating because it was so jealously guarded for so long. Something so wonderful took a bribe, a kidnapped princess and holding out, as if for diamonds, when it was just a formula based on some exotic substances that went kept on getting transferred from one bag to another for generations. (according to the legend)

Since this is the territory of Mt. Ararat, its tied to a Noah Legend. Besides drinking his wine, Noah had this brew to grant long life and prevent disease and enhance limited diets. Fast forward to Moses, and some say, Mannah, that white stuff in the desert, could be a reference to the Children of Israel's saving consumption in the rocky Sinai. Who knows? But it is pretty well agreed that Mohammed's influence came into the area in the 600's. It is said that he wanted this kept secret. And it pretty well was "kept secret" from the world until 1900. That's a cool 1300 years. But how powerfu it really is, and how magical it is, only you can make a subjective analysis if you begin to use.

Don't mistake Kiefer for regular sweet little yogurt packages -

Suffice it to say that the word "Probiotics" sums up science's general commendation of this approach. It is no secret now, and more research is daily establishing that the biochemistry of the gut is a mysterious swamp of good and bad news. The good news is what we can hope to control and influence, and the bad may have to do with what we just don't understand and just can't influence. KIEFER is enlivening. I can tell you that. The little yogurt packages do go through your tummy and do their special little beneficial action, but they do not present a resplendent array of scores of bacteria that will actually recolonize. That's what Kiefer pretends to do.

There is speculation that an out of control bacteria derived from excess starch in the diet also confuses the immune system of those with GLA B27, (TNF) the excess inflammatory responder cytokine that causes so much suffering. Chat rooms I have read talk about the SELF/NOT SELF problem developing here. When the special genetic marker starts overreacting, it can not determine self from not self and it starts to attack the spine and the lower intestinal tract and arthritic conditions, such as we speak of above, begin to develop.

Colonies sounds like Colonics, but not -

Kiefer regularly consumed, might rebalance this out of control bacterial growth and change the alkaline/acid balance, bringing COLONIES of bacteria that can be the rebalancer of your insides. An important point here is the concept of COLONIES OF BACTERIA. Little portions of yogurt are effective, but they basically go through your system on one trip and help out the bugs along the intestinal road. However, the deeply imbedded colonies of bacteria that are entrenched in your tract are the indigenous populace that can not easily and quickly be changed. Changing the colonies to more beneficial bugs is what regular consumption of Kiefer is supposed to do. I like the theory. I love the history. I consume because as the old Jewish saying goes: "It couldn't hoit".

So think about PROBIOTICS in general. I think it has everything to do with our modern, sugar based, starch based diets. With the beginning of agriculture in the middle eastern city states about 2000 BC changed the basic meat and roots diet that humans had. It did not allow the farm worker to leave the field in the middle of the day. The bosses said: "Eat your bread for lunch and get back to work. You can get your wild rabbit meat later." Since then, many say, we with special genetic problems have been prey to this dilemma.

How do you eat for your body instead of your lifestyle? Eating is repetitive and habitual. To gain benefit here, you probably should buy several bottles a week, or at least dose pretty heavily every night or morning. The real stuff is wild tasting without fruit and flavors. Most Kiefers are soaked with pomegranate juice, or blueberry juice or some other new super anti-oxidant. If it was good for the Hebrew children, it could be good enough for you.

Your Must Know Guide to Finding the Best Neck Anti Wrinkle Cream

Does the idea of doing facial exercises ten minutes a day in front of the mirror turn you off? Perhaps it is true that getting more oxygen to the skin will help but I just haven't got the patience. One of the exercises I have seen to get rid of a double chin says you have to press up to forty times! There are easier ways so here is your must know guide on what is possibly the best neck anti wrinkle cream and what to look for.

Neck facts
The neck is often neglected in skincare and the results are there for all to see. This area is different to the face in that it has special problems. As part of our must know guide on what is the best neck anti wrinkle cream, here are a few facts about why our neck needs special attention.

First off, there are fewer sebaceous glands in the neck so that means less moisture and also that the skin tends to be thinner. In addition it does not have many melanocytes so it produces less melanin. This is what gives our skin a glowing tan so the neck is extra sensitive to the UVA and UVB sun rays. Another good reason for us to apply sunscreen on our necks before we go out.

Secondly, as our collagen and elastin supplies are depleted with aging, we are going to face the problems of a sagging skin and in the neck area, that could lead to a double chin and horizontal fine lines known as 'venus's rings'.

A natural ingredient to replenish hylauronic acid
Are there any products on the market that can actually help us to fight the loss of hyaluronic acid, and help keep collagen levels up, which are essential for a youthful complexion? Very few companies have discovered a truly effective one which is safe and will not create any health problems.

Anyone for fish soup?
One natural ingredient which the Japanese use is actually a seaweed and is known as wakame seaweed. A very popular dish is Japan is tofu and wakame seaweed miso soup. You can find this wakame ingredient in lots of their fish soup recipes.

Apart from being a powerful antioxidant, wakame contains calcium, Vitamin B in abundance, calcium and potassium. But it does actually inhibit the hyaluronidase from attacking the vital hylauronic acid. That is why it is regarded by the Japanese as so useful in keeping their skins looking so youthful. The evidence is there for all to see.

So, there you have it. If you do not fancy the idea of making Japanese fish soup to-night, there is a much easier way. A neutraceutical company has actually integrated this seaweed in a powder form into their cosmetic products.
